One of oldest universities in Iraq. Quite long history starts from sixties of past century. Location is very good located directly on Shat al arab shore.
This is the headquarters or the Presidency of the Basrah university located in the very nice place on the side of the Shatt alarab and consist of the offices of the President and his assistants in addition to the administration offices needed to manage the different colleges .
